All Metal Gear Box (NO PLASTIC OR NYLON)
Six strong steel gears with one copper transfer gear along with six sealed bearings (two per gear stack) making it one of the most robust and smooth gear motors out there.
Limit Switches and Manual Override
Built in double-sided manual override shaft creating a universal motor for left or right side installations. Supplied with two lockout keys for security and an easy to use fixed on lever.
360° Adjustable limit cams to ensure a precise cut off for the open and closed positions and furthermore increase the motors life.
24V Extra Heavy Duty DC Motor
Strong DC motor with thick 15mm Output Shaft centered on a bearing at each end to ensure perfect alignment through all directions of operation.
Adjustable Long Span Powder coated Steel Arms
Over engineered 10mm thick steel arms are powder coated and customisable in length. The Primary and Secondary Arms which can span up to 1100mm towards the centre of the gate or be cut back to suit low clearance installations. Ball bush flexible joints allow for gates to continue to operate whilst gates are out of level and even operate tilting/rising gates up to 20°.

Powder Coated Forward Mounting Bracket which can be used for post and pillar installations. 7mm thick and one piece (not welded) this bracket will not bend or break over time. 150mm in width but being a solid steel bracket additional mounting holes can be drilled to suit narrower posts (100mm).

Option 2: Upgrade to Side Mount Bracket Upgrade (Pull or Push to Open)
Powder Coated Side Mounting Bracket which can be used for post and pillar installations. 7mm thick and one piece (not welded) this bracket will not bend or break over time. 350mm in width making it ideal to be used on pillars for optimal holding strength across brick work or to be offset off the post in push to open installs.

24V 20 Watt Solar Panel (Upgradable to 40 Watt or 60 Watt options)
Mono Crystalline silicon solar cells with 3mm tempered glass and two sheets of tedlar-polyeaster-tedlar (TPT) and ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA). This protects against moisture penetrating into the module. The solar panel is supplied with a fence mounting bracket system along with a pre-connected 5 metre cable (maximum cable distance is 20 metres), the solar panel is also fitted with a diode to prevent feed back from the batteries.

APC Uno Standalone Solar System
The APC Uno is an articulate all in one design allowing for clean and secure housing the APC Sun Power Solar Regulator and multiple batteries. The housing can fit up to 2x 9aH batteries (Uno Box), 2x 17aH batteries(Uno Large Box), and 1x 33aH battery(Uno Large Box). In the case of 33aH batteries a Master Uno Large Box and Slave Uno Large Box are required, see details below.

The APC Sun Power System can automatically detect the batteries voltage and set itself into the appropriate charging mode of 12V or 24V.
The APC Sun Power can be set to to be used with Sealed lead acid, flooded batteries, gel batteries and even Lithium Batteries.
The APC Sun Power systems built in temperature sensor will automatically adjust the charging voltage to best suit the environment and as a result a 30% increase in battery lifetime can be expected. Furthermore if the ambient temperature within the enclosure it is installed within exceeds 85° Celsius the Sun Power system will automatically turn off.
The APC Sun Power load output will automatically switch off once the load output exceeds 10 Amps (or short circuit) and auto re -try after 30 seconds.
In case of an installation error the Sun Power solar regulator will not be damaged by incorrect polarity on the solar connection or the battery connection.
The Sun Power Series has Two built in USB terminals, each USB terminal is rated to 5V 1A and can be used to operate low current USB devices such as USB powered speakers, tablet and mobile phone charging, warmers, fans etc.
Built to be last and be used in duty applications the Sun Power System not only offers a powder coated steel heat sink backing plate to keep the controller cool in all charging conditions but also has extra large 10mm wire terminals allowing for use with heavy duty cabling, large bootlace crimps or multiple wires per terminal.

24V 9aH Battery System
Supplied with the automation kit, the 24V Battery System* (2 x 12V 9Ah Batteries) will allow for continued use of the gate system, whether day or night. The system can operate for up to one week of regular residential use without any charge from the solar panel (winter months/wet season) and will automatically recharge from sunlight. When the system batteries are fully charged, it will continue to float charge to keep the batteries topped up and ready for use. In the case of extended use requirements or higher duty, there are upgrade options to 17aH and 33aH battery systems.
*Fully charged batteries will provide 27V and Cuts Off the system at 24V to improve AGM battery life

Long Distance Remote
The APC-RC450S Long range remote is capable of achieving operating distances of up to 400 metres, coupled with the add on booster antenna it can reach up to 800 metres. With these distances you can operate the gate system from around the property, at the home or from the workshop. Multiple long range remotes can be used on the one system.
APC-PE2000 Photoelectric Safety Sensor Set
The Safety sensor set is used to prevent the closing cycle occurring during the case of the sensor path being interrupted by vehicles, trailers or any other obstacles.
If the gate begins to close and the sensor path is interrupted then the gate will stop and return to the open position.
Both sensors (transmitter and receiver) are wired back to the control box of the gate system using the supplied cable roll, alternatively a reflective sensor upgrade is available which will only require wiring from the sensor mounted at the control box.

Wired Double Push Button with Isolation Key
The wired double push button switch is a simple and easy to use method to operate the gate for full gate operation and also pedestrian function.
It is mounted in the general area of the gate and can be isolated by using the supplied keys without affecting the rest of the system, this is handy if you want to continue using the remotes or any other method of operation but wish to stop use of the push button itself.
The push button is wired to the control board using the supplied cable roll. If required the wired push button can be upgraded to a wireless version thus eliminating any need for wiring.
65mm Rubber Gate Stop
The supplied 65mm rubber gate stop with a steel base is used for the gate alignment and tension whilst they are in the closed position; it also allows the gates to be mounted up to 50mm off the ground.
Being that the minimum vehicle height from the ground is 100mm, it will not interfere with the vehicle. In the case that the vehicle was lower than the typical minimum, the stopper would not cause any damage as it is constructed from solid rubber but retains its general strength from the steel plate used at the bottom side contacting the driveway.
